- Domain names function on the Internet in a manner similar to a physical address in the physical world. Each part of the domain name provides specific information. The domain name functions as a link to the IP address. Links do not contain actual information, but they do point to the place where the IP address information resides. It is convenient to think of IP addresses as the actual code and the domain name as a nickname for that code. A typical IP address looks like a string of numbers. It could be 232.17.43.22, for example. However, humans cannot understand or use that code. To summarize, the domain name is a part of the URL, which points to the IP address. - A top-level domain (TLD) is the last segment of the domain name. The TLD is the letters immediately following the final dot in an Internet address. A TLD identifies something about the website associated with it, such as its purpose, the organization that owns it or the geographical area where it originates. Each TLD has a separate registry managed by a designated organization under the direction of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). - What happens if I don't renew my domains?
- Approximately 15 days prior to the domain expiration date, we begin sending reminders to you by email / sms / phone call / whats app stc . You will receive at least two reminders prior to the expiration date and one reminder within five days after expiration. If we are unable to secure payment on or before the domain renewal date, your domain name will expire. As early as one day after expiration, your domain name will be deactivated and replaced with a parking page indicating the domain name has expired, and other services you have associated with the domain name may no longer function. W can no longer provide any support once domain has expired.

- What are charges for domain renewal?
- Only domain will cost as as per the domain cost available at the time of registration / renewal. Domain alone will not able host a website you have to buy a hosting package as well. Please check with our current hosting packages. There are some ctarges if the domain renewed after the expire date but before the grace perios.
